Baby Bassinet Gift Basket Giveaway

If you're a parent, you know that little things can make your day when you have a newborn baby... like sneaking in a one hour nap while baby sleeps... or taking a nice hot shower... or sometimes something as simple as being able to go to the bathroom seems like a feat! So, I'm sure you can see how a lovely gift basket filled with goodies would be a welcome surprise for any new parent.

I've partnered with the folks at Oh! Nuts for this Baby Bassinet Gift Basket Giveaway. Each basket is filled with a Guylian Belgian Chocolate Seashell box, a tube of roasted salted pistachios, It's a Boy/Girl lollipops, a pair of chocolate booties and an organza bag of saltwater taffy. It's perfect for the midnight (or 3am) munchies when baby wakes up in the middle of the night!

To enter, simply leave me a comment below telling me what your child's favorite baby book or toy is (if you don't have a child you can simply tell me what your favorite childhood book/toy was). We're gearing up for my baby girl's first birthday so I'd love to get some ideas :)

For an additional entry, you can blog about this giveaway (please use this link) and then come back here and comment a second time. This must be on your main blog and cannot be done on a blog created just for giveaway entries ;)

This giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents, though Canadians will have to pay standard shipping charges as posted on the website. Giveaway will be open until midnight CDT on October 27th and the winner will be announced here before the end of the month. Please make sure I have a way to contact you if you win! Also note that comment moderation is in place and it may take some time for your comment to appear below.

Good luck!

  1. I will be an aunt for the first time this coming February! This would be the perfect gift for my sister! My favorite toy growing up was my cabbage patch doll named Corney. Her name was originally Cornelia but my mom tells me I was not a fan and shortened it several times before settling with Corney!

  2. What a fun give-away -- especially enticing for a really soon-to-be-mommy, like me. (any day now!) I know my little gal is going to love being read to, though I have no clue what her favorite will be -- yet! ;-) My favorite book when I was young was "Goodnight, Moon". My mom said I had it memorized by the time I was 1 & a half & would "read" it to her instead of the other way around! :-) One of my favorites now that I'm grown is called "I'll Love You Forever". It is a sweet story as well!

  3. My daughter's favorite toy is her set of links. They've kept her occupied for doctor and dentist appointments, kept her toys attached to her stroller (very convenient when in the "drop so mommy will pick it up" stage), and offered lots of conversation pieces about colors. We love links! She also really likes any Sandra Boynton book (who doesn't?!?!).

  4. My oldest daughter (2) loves her toy kitchen. She "cooks" for me all the time and it is absolutely adorable. Her favorite book is a pop-up book about the universe. It's really cute.

  5. Wow, this would be a wonderful gift for my sister! My favorite book when I was little was Tikki Tikki Tembo because I loved how my mom would sing-song the very long name in the story. On a related note (because I saw it at our local library) the short film The Red Balloon was also a favorite as a small child. :-)

  6. my daughters favorite toy is a pink bear lovey. She drags it everywhere, and it looks horrible, especially after being washed so many times. She has 2 others similar to it, but when it's crunch time it HAS to be that specific one or it's not good!

  10. I'm going to be a brand new aunt this coming spring. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law would love the basket, I'm sure. My favorite book as a child was The Twelve Dancing Princesses. If only I could find as nice a copy now as what we had then!

  11. I think Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? is definitely a favorite of both of my kids. The favorite toy right now is a set of foam blocks that look like real wood, but are squishy enough to not hurt when they get stepped on or thrown.
